Skins

Probably one of the most popular side games to play in golf is SkinsSkins can be played with 2 to an unlimited number of players (if playing with multiple groups) and can be played net or gross (with handicaps or without handicaps).

The goal is to get a lower score on a hole than any other golfer playing which is considered a Skin.  Typically, Skin values are designated before the round so everyone knows how much money they could potentially lose.

There are two different ways this game is typically played.  The first is for every golfer participating to put a set amount into a pot to fund the Skins.  At the end of the round that money is split between the Skin winners.  For example, if there are 4 golfers paying $20 into the pot ($80 total) and 2 Skins are won, then the pot total would be divided by 2 and paid out to each Skin winner.  In this scenario each Skin would be worth $80/2 which is $40.

The second way to play is to designate each Skin worth a certain amount.  Let's say its decided each Skin is worth $5 from each player and there are 3 Skins won during the round.  That means each player would owe $5 to each Skin winner making it a $15 loss to each player that didn't win those Skins.

Side Action Tracker can track Skins, and presses on skins, with one up to 144 players at one time!  There's no more gathering scorecards at the end of the round to try and figure out who won Skins because Side Action Tracker will track it live!
